American singer, music producer and a songwriter K-Ci Hailey, member of K-Ci & JoJo and Jodeci,  returns to his Gospel roots with the audio and visual for the single “Jesus Saves,” after years of struggles with addiction and his health.

K-Ci first recorded this song “Jesus Saves,” at age 12 with his father’s gospel group known as, “Little Cedric (K-Ci) and The Hailey Singers.” Two of the group’s albums made the Billboard Gospel Album Chart.

Himself and his brother, Joel also known as JoJo Hailey joined the Degrate Brothers, Devante and Dalvin, to become the group Jodeci, in the early ‘90s. The chart–topping R&B group, won serveral awards some of which are 3 Billboard Awards in 1992 and 2 Soul Train Awards.

K-Ci, JoJo and Tupac Shakur in 1996 worked together for the 3 singles off the album “All Eyes on Me”, “How Do You Want It.” They received their first Grammy nod in 1997 for Best R&B Vocal Performance for the song. In 1999 K-Ci and JoJo won an American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Band/Duo/Group and were nominated for 2 Grammy awards for Best R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for “All My Life.”

Following years of battle with alcohol addiction and health issues which were so bad the doctor lost hope, K-Ci Hailey is back and better. Following his recovery with the testimony, compiled in the single “Jesus Saves”.

It’s such an emotional video which started with a short clip from the time the Gospel artist was at his worse state in the hospital and could not even remember his name. Things went from bad to worse for the artist as the doctor said it could take up to 6 months before he would be able to walk or talk.  With all hope lost, God decided to show his power as the K-Ci Hailey began to make quick recovery and even beat the doctors expectation.

With a grateful heart and a heart full of joy, K-Ci Hailey returns to what he loves doing the most as he premiers the visual of his top selling single “Jesus Saves”.
